BORN 1738
Music with a purpose.
Fort Mose was the first legally sanctioned free black settlement in what is now the United States. Every performance under the live oaks brings new visitors to the site and supports the ongoing work of preserving and interpreting it.
The series returns for its sixth year in February 2027.
